The AR Drone SDK version 2.0.1 is now available.
Support for H264 and MPEG video decoding is now provided by ffmpeg only. The ffmpeg library is a open source software released under the LGPL.

SDK 2.0.1 features are:

  • Support for both AR.Drone 1 and 2
  • AR.FreeFlight 2.0 iOS example
  • AR.FreeFlight 2.0 Android example
  • Firmwares 1.11.5 (AR.Drone 1) and 2.2.9 (AR.Drone 2.0) are included
  • Updated developer guide for new AR.Drone 2.0 features
  • Simple video example for Linux
